EAT DIRT!

Slow down.

Slow the land.

Here at Slow Land, we pride ourselves on making decent enough art, growin’ good plants for our community, carin’ for the land and makin’ extremely bad decisions and even worse jokes.

Our goal when we create our products is to make people ask “why?” So we can tell them “we don’t know either!”

Currently located in rural Georgia, Slow Land is a collective of non-land owners focused on the innovative ways art, plants, land work, and education come together. We are interested in how all of those things take form when you lack resources but come together creatively in mutualism.

We look to share space with people who own land so we can grow our herbs, save seeds, educate community with skill sharing classes, and provide fresh food to share. Brother and sister currently operate out of two broke down trailers and steal internet and borrow electricity to exist for y’all.

Slow Land focuses on Cultivating plants along with education about their importance not just in their environment but how they have historically been used. We are Specializin in plant medicine, but also the best medicine of all… laughter. Just kidding, that’s gay and so are we so we can say that.

We want to expand outside of our trailers to work within our community to make this capitalistic hellscape survivable for all. Through learnin’ our land, meetin’ our neighbors, seedin’ plants, makin’ art, and spreadin’ education.

we will grow or rot, who the hell knows, but we are all in this together.
